Cult comedy THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG returns to the West End with David Kirkbride and Euan Bennet and also embarks on its 4th UK Tour with Damien James and Gabriel Paul.

Ahead of The Play That Goes Wrong’s reopening in the West End, a new cast has been announced. The Olivier Award-winning comedy play esumes performances at the Duchess Theatre from 18 June.

The cast includes Blayar Benn as Trevor, Ross Green as Chris, Elan James as Jonathan, Michael Keene as Dennis, David Kirkbride as Robert, Jack Michael Stacey as Max, Ciara Morris as Annie and Ellie Morris as Sandra. The understudies are Rosemarie Akwafo, Euan Bennet, Colin Burnicle, Sally Cheng and Oliver Clayton.

The touring cast presents: Tom Babbage (Max), Tom Bulpett (Chris), Seán Carey (Jonathan), Leonard Cook (Robert), Edward Howells (Dennis), April Hughes (Sandra), Laura Kirman (Annie), Gabriel Paul (Trevor), with understudies: Katie Hitchcock, Damien James, Edi De Melo and Aisha Numah.

Following three previously sold-out tours, the touring production will open on Tuesday 13 July 2021 at Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury where it first premiered in 2014, before visiting Cheltenham, Bath, Salford, Nottingham, Eastbourne, Dartford, York, Woking, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Brighton and Aylesbury. Further dates soon to be announced.
