Chris graduated with an Honours degree in Medical Anatomy and Physiology before moving into the world of choreography and direction. Having attained awards in Latin American Ballroom dance, he has since moved into the dance world embracing everything from Bollywood to Burlesque. Chris is known for his quirky and unique style as most recently showcased in WHITE CHRISTMAS where the iconic tap routine 'I Love A Piano' was executed using finger taps.
In 2008, he created the dynamic comedy dance concept, Kitsch Kats, in which he is the Artistic Director and perfomer. This work has included Vogueing Flight attendants, Jiving cardiac surgeons, Charlestoning mannequins and many more. Other Choreography credits have included WHITE CHRISTMAS, HELLO DOLLY, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS MY FAIR LADY, KISS ME KATE, PRIVATES ON PARADE and CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL (all for Pitlochry Festival Theatre), HEDZ (BBC), A WINTER'S TALE, A CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL and OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR! (all for Queen Margaret University), ALADDIN (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), MOTHER GOOSE, CINDERELLA AND SLEEPING BEAUTY (all for Byre Theatre). These credits have involved working with large scale musical theatre ensembles to Actor Musicians. Chris has given classes at various dance and theatre institutes including Royal Conservatoire Of Scotland, Queen Margaret University, Dance Base and Dance House.
